Here’s how to do that in Tangem Wallet.

1. Open the Tangem app and tap the menu button (three dots at the upper-right corner).
2. Select your wallet.
3. Tap Manage Tokens.
4. Tap the + sign.
5.  Scroll down and select Cardano (ADA) as the blockchain.
6. Enter the contract address.
7. Tap Derivation Path.
8. Select Custom derivation.
   To generate a new one, change the derivation path index (the last number in the path).
   Enter a new path (unused):  m/44'/1815'/0'/0/1
   Each time you increase the final index, Tangem generates a new Cardano address that has never been used.
9. Tap Add token.
10. Enter your access code or biometrics and scan your Tangem Wallet to save changes.
11. On your wallet homepage, you’ll see a new Cardano token with a grey circle. Use this token's address for the Midnight token claim.

Since you just created it, the address will be clean and unused. Do not send ADA or any tokens to it before finishing the claim process.

6. Open your Tangem Wallet app, go to WalletConnect, and scan the QR code.
7. Your Tangem Wallet will connect to the Midnight dApp.
8. Once connected, the dApp will display the number of tokens you can claim.
9. Click Next to continue.
10.  Enter your new Cardano wallet address.
    ⚠️ Important: The Cardano address must be new and unused.  If the address is valid, the system will verify it automatically.
11. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions (ToC) to proceed.
