This specialization is particularly beneficial within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem, where numerous wrapped and synthetic tokens are designed to replicate the price of their underlying assets.

One of the prominent features of Curve Finance is its stablecoin pool, such as the 3CRV pool, which includes DAI, USDT, and USDC. The pool's composition is determined by market supply and demand, allowing users to deposit coins with lesser ratios to gain a higher percentage of the pool. This mechanism provides opportunities for arbitrage, especially when the pool's ratio is significantly skewed towards one of the coins.

Curve Finance also integrates yield-bearing tokens, collaborating with platforms like Yearn Finance to offer pools such as yUSD, which comprises yDAI, yUSDT, yUSDC, and yTUSD. Participants in these pools benefit from the yield of the underlying tokens, swap fees generated by the Curve pool, and yield farming rewards in the form of CRV tokens. This multi-source yield approach provides liquidity providers with three distinct revenue streams.
