How it works
Node runners deposit FORT tokens to provide economic security for their work. If a node fails or acts maliciously, the staked FORT can be slashed. Delegated staking allows FORT holders to improve network security by delegating to scan node pools. Governance is progressively decentralized, starting with Council governance, where FORT holders can vote and shape the network's evolution through Snapshot Voting.
