The Global Earth Observation Decentralized Network (GEODNET) is a decentralized network of Space Weather mining stations. These stations report the real-time influence of the Sun’s solar winds on the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals. This data is crucial for accurately correcting GNSS signals, such as GPS, to provide centimeter-level positioning accuracy and improve absolute time accuracy to the nano-second level.

GEODNET is a leading DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) project with strong demand and user-side revenue growth, along with a token burn mechanism. The network supports a wide range of applications, including Automotive/Autonomous Navigation, Agriculture/Construction Vehicle Machine Control, Earthquake/Geohazard Monitoring, and traditional Land Survey. With over 3000 nodes, GEODNET serves numerous existing applications with a world-class network.
How it works
GEODNET Mining Stations were first deployed in March 2022, and the network has been rapidly expanding since then. On-chain revenue began in April 2023, and the project received a $1.5M token purchase investment led by Borderless Capital in July 2023. The token can be used for various purposes, including fees for providing GEODNET data streams and services, rewards to Space Weather Miners, staking to create new high-value SuperHex, governance votes, and mining equipment discounts and purchases.
