Hedron (HDRN) is a collection of smart contracts residing on the Ethereum and PulseChain blockchains. It is designed to enhance the HEX ecosystem by enabling stakers to mint and borrow HDRN tokens against their active HEX stakes. Additionally, Hedron facilitates the trading of HEX stakes as NFT tokens on compatible NFT marketplaces. The platform is fully decentralized, with no admin keys or kill switches, ensuring zero counterparty risk.
Main features
Hedron allows HEX stakers to mint or borrow HDRN based on the shares allocated to their stakes. If a staker ends their stake prematurely or before minting HDRN, they lose the ability to mint HDRN against those stakes. HEX stakes with active HDRN advances cannot be ended until the advance is fully paid, although Good Accounting can still be used. The maximum mintable or borrowable days correspond to the full term of the stake.
How it works
HDRN is an inflationary token, and its supply is influenced by the HEX share price. As the HEX share price increases over time, the number of shares allocated to HEX stakes decreases, leading to a reduction in the amount of mintable HDRN. This mechanism is akin to how 'minable' cryptocurrencies increase difficulty over time, ensuring a dynamic and evolving supply model.
