This enables Solana token holders to maintain liquidity on their staked assets, which can be traded or used as collateral in various DeFi products.

The primary feature of Lido for Solana is the issuance of stSOL tokens, which represent a user's share of the total SOL pool deposited with Lido. Upon delegation to the pool, users receive newly minted stSOL tokens. As the SOL delegation accrues rewards over time, the value of stSOL appreciates, providing users with a liquid asset that grows in value.
How it works
When users stake their SOL tokens with Lido, they receive stSOL tokens in return. These tokens are minted immediately, with no waiting period, allowing users to instantly utilize their staked assets. The stSOL tokens can be traded or used in DeFi applications, offering flexibility and liquidity to SOL holders. However, it's important to note that Lido on Solana was sunset on February 4th and is no longer supported by Lido DAO.
